Flood defence and drainage management experts will be flowing into Peterborough for FLOODEX 2020 at East of England Arena and Events Centre, February 26-27, 2020 and will be welcoming HRH Duke of Gloucester to the show on the second day.

Keynote speakers at FLOODEX this year include Peter Glas, Holland’s Delta Commissioner, and he will be sharing how Holland sees the challenge of a changing climate and how they proactively plan to deal with those changes.

Another exciting addition to this year’s FLOODEX is the Future Water Association’s “Water Dragons” competition, based on BBC’s Dragon’s Den, which provides a unique opportunity for companies to pitch product, service or process innovations to a panel of senior water management executives.

Jon Irwin, event director for the show’s organiser, Indigo Media & Events (IME), said “FLOODEX is a great way for people from the construction fraternity to attend CPR accredited seminars and talk to experts about solutions and products on the exhibition stands,” adding, “flooding events are only going to get worse and could affect many aspects of planning, development and construction.”

Jason Lunn, venue director, East of England Arena and Event Centre, welcomed the show back to the venue saying, “FLOODEX is the foremost event dedicated to flood defence and drainage, and it’s a pleasure to welcome it back to the venue.”
