On Wednesday 26th May 2021, we hosted the first socially distanced Peterborough City Council meeting since lockdown due to the additional space required to comply with social distancing regulations.

At the meeting Cllr. Wayne Fitzgerald was elected as the new Leader of the Council and Cllr. Stephen Lane was elected City Council Mayor.

Jason Lunn, venue director commented, “We were honoured to be asked to host the first meeting of the newly elected council after successfully hosting the recent local elections. We work closely with the council and are pleased to once again work with their team to make this important meeting possible.”
