Statement from Jason Lunn, venue director at the East of England Arena and Event Centre.

“It is unfortunate that, due to Covid 19 and the new lockdown restrictions announced on 4 Jan 2021, a number of events have been impacted, including:

  • The New & Used Motorhome & Campervan Sale – 26 Feb 2021 – Postponed
  • SelfBuild & Design 2021 – 6 Mar 2021 – Cancelled
  • FLOODEX 2021 – 7 Apr 2021 – Cancelled

We have worked closely with our colleagues within the events industry, Peterborough City Council, and public health to keep safe events running at the venue through 2020 with great success. However, the current ‘stay at home’ order means that we are now unable to host any events until the restrictions are revised or lifted. We will keep working behind closed doors to bring more events to the city and the region once the pandemic has passed.”

The New & Used Motorhome & Campervan Sale: a statement from Sally Dodds, Head of Events, Warners Shows, 5th January 2021

“In view of the latest government guidance and to protect the health and well-being of attendees to our events including our exhibitors, contractors, staff and visitors, Warner’s Shows have taken the decision to postpone this year’s New & Used Motorhome & Campervan Sale, scheduled for 26th – 28th February to 28th – 30th January 2022.

Not the start to the 2021 season we were looking for, however, I am confident this is the right decision at this time and we hope to see you all later in the year. Our full line up of events can be viewed at

The Young Driver events held at the venue have been cancelled until February 20th and the organisers have made the following statement:

“We have not taken this decision lightly: the rapid rise of Covid-19 cases, the near overwhelmed status of many local hospitals and the increasing number of areas being put into Tier 4 has led us to conclude that it is not safe or responsible for us to operate as usual at this time, even with the PPE and precautions we have in place.

If you have a lesson booked at any date up to the 19th February 2021, we will be contacting you shortly by email with information on how to easily reschedule your lesson to a future date convenient to you. (Please do check your junk boxes as sometimes our emails end up there!)”
